Booklist Review

Because it will secure the promotion to partner that she desperately wants, brand strategist Haley Hanson will do anything to land the multimillion-dollar Tyler Toys account, even if it means she has to attend Christmas Camp. Haley knows that some (OK, all) of her coworkers and most of her friends and family think she is a complete Grinch, but that doesn't mean she can't learn enough about Christmas while away at Holly Peak Inn so that she can come up with a knockout holiday campaign for Tyler Toys. At least, that is her plan until she bumps into Jeff Jacoby, the son of the inn's owner. Haley vows to check off everything on the camp's activity list as quickly as possible, while Jeff is determined to show Haley that you can't rush the magic of Christmas. Her goal? To complete all the activities and get her "certificate." The result? A life-changing experience. The relationship that develops between Haley and architect Jeff Jacoby, the son of the retreat's owner, is both tense and romantic, and the Holly Peak Inn setting and campers are thoroughly endearing-particularly the dog Max and two teens. VERDICT A -charming movie-to-book crossover that would be right at home on the Hallmark Channel and a winner for fans looking for a touching holiday read.
