Chef Bobo knows kids love pizza and pasta. And he's figured out how to get them to love rutabaga fries, roasted cauliflower, and chickpeas too. After two years heading the kitchen at New York's Calhoun School, Chef Bobo has managed to persuade more than 500 kids (some finicky, some picky, most skeptical) that simple, healthy food can be deliciously satisfying. To educate their palates, he's pulled out all the stops. He's tempted them with adventuresome choices, wooed them with fabulous tastes, wowed them with bold seasonings, dazzled them with invigorating herbs and sublime spices, held back the sugar, banished the ketchup, and heaped on the flavor.
