School Library Journal Review
Gr 3-5-What's better than an alien robot? A giant, furry, super smelly Sasquatch robot, of course. Morgan and Lewis are back in a second adventure featuring their neighbor Mr. Lee's latest creation: Bigfoot. Inadvertently left with the remote control for a weekend, the boys do what any self-respecting, adventure-seeking kids would do: they try it out. Deciding that a Bigfoot sighting is just the thing to help save Lewis's family's failing hotel business, the boys decide to stage a showing no one could possibly dispute. With remote in hand, what could possibly go wrong? Add one extremely nosy big sister, rain, and a Sasquatch stink so terrible that the house needs remodeling, and Morgan is beginning to have doubts. When the Sasquatch's true purpose is revealed, the boys realize their adventures may just be beginning. Sketches with speech bubbles throughout add humor and help make this a quick, entertaining read. VERDICT This title doesn't stand alone but is a must-read for fans of the first book.-Kelly Roth, Bartow County Public Library, Cartersville, GA (c) Copyright 2015. Horn Book Review
Fans of Alien Encounter will enjoy this second book, in which Morgan and Lewis continue their adventures involving costume-maker and neighbor Mr. Lee. While he's away, Mr. Lee has left the boys with the remote control to his Sasquatch robot, which they sensibly safeguard. Not. Comical drawings and Morgan's acrostic poems add to the silliness.
