Summary

It's the slow season at the Hemlock Falls Inn, so sisters Sarah and Meg Quilliam, who serve as innkeeper and chef, are thrilled that the handsome Chief Justice has ordered that a jury be sequestered at the inn. But then they get the list of what the group will need during their stay, and begin to have misgivings. There are only six jurors, the judge, his bodyguard, and the court liaison, but there may as well be a full house! In the meantime, a raucous group is protesting the planned relocation of the local Civil War cemetery, when their leader turns up dead. Now, Meg and Quill must catch a killer before another local V.I.P. is greeted with an untimely R.I.P
