Horn Book Review

Pinkalicious's perfect attendance record earns her the privilege of being principal for a day. But the night before her star turn, she's felled by a fever, and she must stay home from school. The story follows a predictable path (disappointment, improvement, and, finally, triumph); as with the other Pinkalicious books, the digitized-looking, pinked-out art may seduce treacle-tolerant readers.
