Summary:
After going through a rough divorce, Carolyn leaves her home in Los Angeles and returns to her grandmother's house in Mayville, North Carolina. Her daughter, Jordy, does not like having to move. Back in Mayville, Carolyn unexpectedly meets up with her ex-fiancé, whom she left standing at the altar many years ago. She also discovers that a lost, homeless boy is living in her grandmother's basement, another woman has her eye on her ex-fiance, and a Christmas pageant is coming up.
